Guided By Glow review

Guided By Glow offers guided audio built around voice, breath and attention. The founder describes working with writers and performers on sessions that are organized around a practice, with a free entry point and an unlimited membership.

Start with the kind of guidance you want

Glow’s about page describes sessions focused on mindfulness, embodiment and intimacy. Its consent page asks listeners to confirm they are at least 18 before accessing the free session. The terms identify the service’s recordings as material from Glow and its licensors and allow personal, non-commercial use.

A guided session and its renewal cutoff

Dipsea queues stories in a series, while Glow’s sessions are organized around a guided practice. Glow offers a single session to try before its recurring monthly or annual plan. Its terms ask you to turn off renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends, through your phone account for an in-app purchase or the website settings for a web purchase.

Anabel’s take

I'd use the free session to decide whether the pacing and prompts fit what I want from guided audio. That would tell me more about whether I'd return than the size of the library.
