TryNectar review
TryNectar combines companion chat with image generation. Its FAQ says the free plan includes the character creator, chat and a limited number of image generations, and describes expanded messaging and memory for paid plans.
Response length and memory are separate settings
Nectar’s FAQ says you can choose Long Mode or Short Mode for replies, and describes extended memory as a premium feature. SpicyChat describes a Memory Manager for reviewing remembered details. TryNectar’s reply-length setting controls how much the character says at a time, and its memory rules govern how much context it can carry forward.
The free plan’s memory limits return when paid access ends
According to the FAQ, premium memory features become unavailable after expiry and stored history from premium tiers may become inaccessible. The terms say cancelling renewal leaves access in place for the rest of the paid term. Keep that end date in mind if you want to continue a long conversation.
Anabel’s take
I’d try both response lengths before paying. For a long-running story, I’d also factor in what happens to the thread if I let the plan lapse.
