Venice AI review

Venice AI offers models for text and media with privacy labels in the model selector. Its FAQ explains what each label means and which features are unavailable in its end-to-end encrypted mode.

Read the privacy label on the model you choose

Venice says an Anonymized model provider does not receive your identity but may process prompts under its own policies. A Private model runs on Venice-controlled or zero-retention partner infrastructure, and the FAQ says prompts in that mode are not retained. Nastia AI explains privacy at the account level and keeps chats out of public view. Venice’s labels address prompt processing for each model.

End-to-end encryption changes the feature set

For E2EE models, Venice says the device encrypts the prompt and it is decrypted only inside a verified secure enclave. The FAQ says web search and memory are disabled in this mode. Choose the model based on the processing rules and the features the session needs.

Anabel’s take

I’d look at the privacy badge each time I switched models. For sessions that need web search or memory, I’d check which mode offers those features before starting.
