Playboy Magazine review

Playboy’s magazine archive is on the publisher’s own website. The public Issues page lists editions by decade. You can look up a month and year before deciding whether to subscribe to read an issue.

Find the issue before subscribing

The index groups issues from the 1950s onward and shows individual cover dates. The overview describes full-issue access as a subscriber benefit. Adult Film Database has a year and studio search for identifying films. Playboy’s index is a better starting point when the thing you remember is a magazine issue.

Check the type of membership on the offer

Playboy’s billing support distinguishes recurring annual memberships from one-year memberships that expire after a single payment. Its support page also describes cancellation and the confirmation email that follows. The offer’s own terms tell you which billing arrangement applies to the archive access you are considering.

Anabel’s take

I’d find the issue by decade and note the cover date first. If I was subscribing for one edition, I’d also check whether the offer renews before choosing it.
