Hide.me review
Hide.me publishes the scope of a no-logs assessment and names the operating systems on which it supports split tunneling. Those documents answer different questions about what the app does and what an auditor examined.
What was in the sample Securitum reviewed?
The report dated June 7, 2024 concerns the product state on March 15, 2024. Securitum reviewed VPN configuration files, deployment and a supplied sample container. It found a daemon startup log in the sample and reported no user activity or traffic in that file. Hide.me’s current privacy policy also describes optional app diagnostics separately.

IPVanish VPN publishes a summary of its September 2026 server-logging audit and gives customers access to the full report through their accounts. Hide.me’s Securitum report can be opened publicly. For app features, hide.me lists split tunneling on Windows, Android and macOS. Its refund help gives qualifying direct plans a 30-day window and refers app-store purchases to the store.
Anabel’s take
I'd read the audit to understand what the sample covered. Then I'd check the split-tunneling guide for my operating system before deciding which plan I needed.
