The developer lists traits, values and behavior among the character settings. The app also lists several conversation languages, including English, Spanish, Japanese and French. Memory is part of the design described on the store page, which gives no measure of how much an individual conversation will retain.
Designing the companion or controlling the reply
TryNectar documents a free character creator and separate Short and Long modes for the replies themselves. I'd use those controls when the pace of the conversation is the priority. Paradot’s listed traits and relationship settings give you more to decide about the companion before you open a chat.

I'd choose Paradot for one recurring character whose voice on the page I want to shape around a few values. I'd rather settle on those traits first than try to define the entire relationship in the opening message.
